Hi ! This is Robin, editor of www.nhscare.info, the website set up in 2002 to help Derek Cole get his expert legal advice to those families who were being cheated to the right to free long term health care, 100% funded by the NHS. Since then several key people have joined the core group providing information and advice on the web site, and helping the general campaign in many ways, including lobbying MPs and the media, or helping a small number of families. Even hundreds of families is small compared with the estimated 400,000 families who have been defrauded of maybe £30 billion pounds in the past 10 years. Visit the web site for detailed help. You will see people such as Pam Coughlan, whose case provides the legal foundation for our claims, Derek Cole who provided the expert legal advice, David Gooch and Stephen Squires whose cases were in the first Ombudsman's report, Ian Perkin and Bleddyn Hancock, and of course, myself. Stephen Squires has had a message board linked from our front page since 2003, and this does a wonderful job of letting people chat amongst themselves - to see that they are not alone. I don't know if this NHSCare message board will have a use: if it does, it may be to allow specific advice to be given by anyone, publicly. If so, it is important that we all have confidence in who we are speaking to. If possible, please try and indicate your real name and town in which you live, since that will make it easier for the rest of us who may already have spoken to you on the 'phone.
